English Language Arts

Students are given choice and voice when it comes to demonstrating their learning in English courses. Here, a student created a newspaper that highlights many of the events and conflicts in John Steinbeck's Of Mice and Men. The creativity and quality of the work increases when students have the opportunity to choose how they will complete projects and have access to high quality technology and resources.
