BSHS became an Apple Distinguished School by establishing a clear vision for learning that prioritizes engagement, creation, and real-world application. The implementation of a one-to-one program with iPad and Mac allowed teachers to redesign instruction so students actively create, collaborate, and think critically rather than passively receive information. The school focused on consistent, research-based instructional practices supported through coaching, professional learning, and collaboration. Over time, this work led to a strong, shared culture where innovation, student voice, and meaningful learning experiences are present across classrooms.
