Media Center Procedures & Policies

Media Center Personel 

The School Library Media Specialist and Library Aid are available to assist students and teachers in:

1. Effective use of ideas and information

2. Equitable access to information

3. Creation and development of research, reading, and informational skills

4. Collaboration in product creation

Use of Space

• Students are free to use the Media Center Suite throughout the entire day.
   
• While the Media Center Suite may be reserved for a class, all other students may still utilize all resources in the Media Center Suite.
   
• Please sign-into the Media Center using the QR codes located in each space.
   
• This space is yours to collaborate, innovate, and design--get comfortable and get creating! 

Circulation of Materials and Fines

• Three books may be borrowed at one time.
   
• Renewing is possible unless reserved by another student or assigned by a staff member.
   
• Books from the general collection circulate for the two weeks
   
• Overdue fine is 5 cents per day.
   
• Lost or missing books result in payment of replacement cost.
